When the weather won’t cooperate, these indoor options and ideas in Crestwood, Buckner, LaGrange, Pewee Valley, Prospect and Goshen offer families some fun!
Families can swim, have a nerf gun fight, play pool, catch a play or take it easy with a board game. Sometimes it takes a little creativity to get through a gloomy, freezing or too hot day. There’s definitely plenty of options below to still have fun indoors.

Library Children’s Story Time & Special Events – We are lucky to have some super creative and fun librarians at our local library branches. Little Colonel Playhouse – Check out the local talent in a play! (Most shows are geared toward an older, mature audience. They do have one show a year that includes high school students and actors.) (Pewee Valley)

YMCA – The Buckner YMCA is such a fun, family-friendly place! Members can check in the kids in the activity center, shoot basketball in the gym or swim! They plan several other events throughout the year open to the community. Special Open Field Play Dates and events in their indoor arena are also offered at different times throughout the year.
