The new Traderbakers Farm Market recently opened in LaGrange. It is located at 1800 Hwy 53 and sits between the Verizon Store and Big O' Tires. Presently, the outside is decorated with fall colored mums and old farm tractors. It was enough for me to stop and want to go see what was inside. This old bank is transformed into a roadside farmer's market, but inside a cute little store with vibrant colors all around.
There is a butcher meat counter filled with local meat from the Bakers' farm, chicken fresh from a local Amish farm and Chelsey's eggs from Pleasureville, KY. There are a few side dishes in the butcher case to go along with your fresh beef or deli meat. You can also find fresh produce, dog treats, soaps, soy candles, snacks, fresh bread, Kentucky Proud products and more in the store. The gourmet jellies and jams from Winchester, KY and fudge made in LaGrange, KY are all beautifully displayed around the store.
We love that everyone in the store knows exactly where each product is from and a neat story behind it. The warm and friendly new store is a great addition to LaGrange and is a great quick stop for fresh, local food and treats. Check out the new Traderbakers Farm Market and support the local farmers in our area and around Kentucky!
