Family Fun Day at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve

Every July, families can come together at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen for some good ol’ fashioned summer fun!

The 7th Annual Family Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 13th 10am-2pm.  This year, Creasey is joining two of their great events together into one: Family Fun Day & Pet Day is now Family Fun Day with Pets!

Louisville Family Fun, area businesses, and organizations come together and sponsor activities to celebrate families and community.  The event is free and open to the entire family.  Donations are encouraged and will go directly to Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve.

Crafts & other children’s activity booths
Pet booths & pet adoptions
Water slide
Face Painting
Gem Mining
Misting Tree

11:00am-12pm
Zoo animals, such as a Blue-tongued skink, African Pygmy hedgehog and Corn snake from the Louisville Zoo will be in the Nature Center. (Cool off inside!)
Mutt Strut Contest – there is a small fee to compete.  Bring your friendly four-legged friend with you!
12:00pm
Fire Hose splashdown with the North Oldham Fire District.  (Bring your swimsuit and a towel – you will be soaked!)

This is a wonderful event for families to enjoy together and offers a chance for the community to explore Creasey Mahan and also give back.

Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve is located at 12501 Harmony Landing Road in Goshen.
